On April 10, Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), met in Beijing with Kho Choon Keng, President of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI) and the delegation of the new SCCCI board of directors led by him. The two sides exchanged views on issues such as jointly promoting the development of economic and trade relations between China and Singapore as well as between China and ASEAN countries, facilitating the construction of a favorable business environment, and providing efficient commercial law services for enterprises.
On the same day, Ren also met in Beijing with a delegation led by Roland Rott, President and CEO of Imaging of GE HealthCare in the United States. The two sides exchanged views on topics such as strengthening exchanges between the business communities of China and the US, facilitating the resolution of specific issues faced by foreign-funded enterprises in their operations in China, and enhancing cooperation in the industrial and supply chains.
